Offshore Windservice A/S
One of the most advanced fleets of crew transfer vessels – CTV
Offshore Windservice A/S delivers what they promise
Norwegian-owned Offshore Windservice A/S is based at the Port of Thyboron, and its fleet of Fob Swath CTVs have established it as a solid name in the offshore industry, built on trust. The fleet currently numbers 10 vessels, and their capacity is fully utilised. The increasing demand for Fob Swath vessels has arisen because Offshore Windservice A/S keeps its promises. What they say – they do. No corners are cut. Customers get what they are promised.
Fob Swath
SWATH stands for: Small Waterline Area Twin Hull, which sums up the design of the entire Offshore Windservice fleet. The vessels are semi-submerged, allowing for smoother sailing.
A new drive system using water jets makes the vessels vibration-free, and they have a cruising speed of up to 33 knots. Both speed and crew comfort are paramount on Fob Swath CTVs.
They can operate in conditions with a wave height of up to 2 metres around offshore wind farms, and are therefore suitable for the North Sea. The vessels are equipped with a DP-0 system, so they can maintain their position at sea at the touch of one button.
The largest vessels have a capacity of up to 40 passengers.
Crew comfort
The crew is on standby 24/7 during the four weeks they are at sea.
Crew comfort is a high priority at Offshore Windservice A/S, and is the company’s vision.
