Navigation

The North Sea is a harsh environment with Denmark’s highest average wind speed. Yet the Port of Thyboron can be navigated in any weather conditions, as the harbour is well protected inside the Liim Fiord and the entrance faces east.

ISPS

ISPS ports protect against terrorism, and also avoid disruptions to operation, as only people with a valid reason will be given access to the area while the ship is docked.

Corona pandemic - COVID19

The Port of Thyboron operates as normal and COVID-19 contingency plans have been implemented. We strive to update the website as the Danish authorities change the restrictions in order to control the spread of coronavirus - COVID19.

The environment is everyone’s responsibility, and we make it simpler.

Waste management

Containers for ship waste are available at all quays. We are happy to deliver the container to the vessel for easier handling.

Slop oil management

Containers for the safe disposal of slop oil are available at the port. We are happy to collect the slop oil using our Solus extraction system if you cannot pump it into a tank yourself.

Electricity supplies

All quays at the Port of Thyboron are equipped with electricity stands for supplying commercial vessels. Register as a user with your mobile phone and you will be able to use the stands upon arrival.

10-metre-deep fairway to the Port of Thyboron

The largest dredging project in Thyboron Port´s history has been completed. Today there is 10 m water depth in the entrance to the port and the Liimfjord quays in the southern part of the port.
