The new vessel was commissioned by Tonny Nees, Jan Poulsen, Arne Christensen and Rasmus Arnbak, and was christened Anders Nees on 26 October 2019.

L426 Anders Nees, a combined flyshooter and trawler, was built by Thyborøn Skibs & Motor A/S in the new Vestre Inderhavn harbour basin.

She has since been sold to Norwegian fisherman Bjørn Kjellby, who has accumulated quite a fleet of vessels built in Thyboron.
