Limfjordskaj II is the Port of Thyboron’s heavy-lift quay for decommissioning offshore structures. The location, over 1.5 kilometres from urban development, is ideal for the work.

Limfjordskaj II is 180 metres long with a 30 metre-wide quay road and a load capacity of 23 tonnes per square metre. This allows even very large elements to be handled easily. There is also 150,000 square metres of adjoining land.

The sailing time to the northern Danish oil and gas fields is shorter than from other ports like Esbjerg. The Port of Thyboron is therefore a perfect location for disassembly into smaller units at the offshore facility, where a short sailing time is of great importance.
