International fish auction

Popular North Sea fish are distributed to consumers throughout the EU via the international fish auction in Thyboron. The fish are quality assured and have full traceability, so consumers can see where and when the fish have been caught. The efficient logistics at the fish auction ensure day-to-day delivery throughout most of the EU.

Box washing facility

750 fish boxes washed per hour in the box washing facility, run by Klaus from the Port of Thyboron fishing association.

If Danish seine line needs to be replaced or trawl inspected, it is easy to call at Svanholmkaj, which offers direct access to trawl-stretching facilities in an undisrupted area.

The trawl-stretching facility at Sydhalen has space to repair even the largest trawls. 500-metre trawl-stretching facility with working light offers a good overview for repairs and maintenance, 24/7/365.

Slipway

The slipway in Thyboron is a four-track facility, jointly established and owned by two shipyards – Kynde & Toft A/S and Thyborøn Skibs & Motor A/S. The slipway is operated by Thyborøn Ophalerbedding, and has a capacity of 500 T.

Floating dock

The floating dock in Thyboron is the largest one on the Danish North Sea coast. It was jointly established and is shared by the two large shipyards – Kynde & Toft A/S and Thyborøn Skibs & Motor A/S. The floating dock has a capacity of 9,000 T and is operated by Thyborøn Shipyard.
